New ways for jewelers to learn at The Smart Jewelry Show Chicago

The SMART Jewelry Show has announced several innovative education programs that are designed to help independent jewelry retailers learn new business ideas at the 2013 SMART Show, held at Chicago's Navy Pier on April 13 - 15, 2013 (with the education conference beginning on April 12). IBM Forecast: Jewelry Sales to Shine This Year

I find it ironic that many executives struggle to see the business value of social networking, because as a group, executives tend to be some of the most highly networked individuals. Perhaps they feel that the Internet is too impersonal a meeting place compared to board rooms, fine restaurants and golf courses. Personally, I believe the underlying issue is one of missing the forest for the trees. On the surface, social networks like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn just look like so much fluff.
