AGTA GemFair at the JCK Show Starts Tomorrow AGTA The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) GemFair at the JCK Show will be open tomorrow, Thursday, May 30th, and will close the same day as the JCK Show on Monday, June 3rd. At the center of the 18K rose and white gold necklace is a marquise-cut purplish diamond, from which is a suspended a 75.36-carat D/IF briolette diamond. I suppose there are times when a trend appears suddenly, almost as if like magic, out of nowhere. Maybe. But with regard to blue and pink gem jewelry, this is not one of those times. In February, there were clues from fashion's fall runway shows, and in April, there were even bigger clues from jewelry's Baselworld show. To be fair, the signs from ready-to-wear weren't in-your-face obvious. But in Basel?
