Is the gem you are looking at the right "size"?
John Dyer & Co. - AGTA Member
Since carats are a measure of weight and not a measurement of visual size they can be misleading. Imagine looking for a one pound block of wood or a one pound block of steel. They both would weigh the same, but the block of wood will LOOK far larger because wood is less "heavy" than steel. In technical terms they have different "specific gravities" and so does each gem material. Diamond is much "heavier" than opal for example.MORE

Or you may fall in love with a gem that flashes broad patterns of red and yellow, with all the bright festivity of carnival in Rio. And with its rainbow appeal, opal complements everything in your wardrobe.MORE

Social Media: Great Tools For Teamwork
Forbes
Whether you're a self-publisher, small press or major publisher, one thing you're going to have to do is collaborate. Email has become the default tool for communication and, more by accident rather than design, for collaboration as well. But sadly, email often makes working together harder rather than easier. Sending versions of books back and forth amongst editors and beta readers for comments just ends up with lots of documents that have to be merged together by hand, a tedious process that's prone to error.MORE
